Ping - Use the Ping tool to check the
connection between you and any available device
on your network, or server on the Internet. |

Trace Route
- Use the Trace Route tool to obtain the list of
gateways between your computer and a particular
device or server. |

Name Scan
- Name scan attempts to obtain the Internet
names for a range of IP addresses. |
|
Ping Scan
- The Ping Scan tool will ping a range of
Internet Addresses and display the results. See
Ping for more information. |

Port Scan
- The Port Scan tool will scan a range of ports
for a range of Internet Addresses. Each TCP/IP
port will be tested to see if there is a server
active on that location. |

Service
Scan - The Service Scan Tool scans a range of
Internet Addresses in its attempt to locate a
particular type of server. |
|
Echo Plus
- The Echo Plus tool allows you to send data to
an Echo Server. The Echo Server will then
reflect this data back to the echo tool. The
Echo Plus tool can also be used to send data to
test other service ports. |

Email
Verify - The Email Verify tool can be used
to test the validity of an email address. This
test is done by contacting the email server
which handles email for the domain name and
testing to see if it will accept the email
address. The test requires access to a DNS
Server which can return MX type records. |

Character
Generator - The Character Generator Tool
shows the results of a connection to a Character
Generator service. |
|
HTML Test
- The HTML Test Tool will connect to a HTML
server and test the speed of transfer of the
target Web page. |

NS Lookup - The NS Lookup tool can be used to determine the Internet
Protocol address or Internet name of a device. |

Domain Search
- The Domain Search Tool can be used to obtain
registration information for a domain. |

IP Search
- The IP Search Tool can be used to obtain registration information for an IP Address. |

Whois
- Use the Whois tool to obtain information on names from the Network Information Center. |
|
Time
- Use the Time tool to obtain precise time value from a remote Time server and to synchronize your local system clock. |

Daytime
- The Daytime tool queries a Daytime Server to obtain
the current time. |

Finger
- Use the Finger tool to obtain information about all users on a network host. |

Quote of the Day
- Use the Quote of the Day tool to view quotations from a remote Quote server. |

Local Network

Active Connections - Use Active Connection tool to view network information regarding the
local computer. Information listed includes currently active TCP/UDP connections, report on
network statistics of different protocols (including TCP, IP, UDP, and ICMP), list of network
interfaces, current IP routing table, and ARP table. |

Network Statistics
- The Network Statistics tool displays TCP/IP per protocol network statistics for the local computer. |

Route Table
- The Route Table Tool displays the contents of the routing table for the local computer. |

ARP Scan
- The ARP Scan tool will perform Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) operations for the local computer. It will return the
ARP address for a target IP and can also obtain the Best Interface and Best Route information. |

Local IP Info
- The Local IP Information tool displays the local computer IP Network Information. |
